Very comfortable bed! Only thing I didn't appreciate was the late check in times of other guests. Understandably it's a hostel and that's expected, but I had 2 people come in an hour apart after 11pm last night (when I had to get up at 4am) and one of the guests decided to "scrapbook", cutting up brochures etc at 12am in torchlight, and the other decided to sit on the chair at the desk opposite my bed, 2 feet away from me, facing me, in the dark, on her laptop "to help me sleep and limit the light in my eyes". Freakiest situation that I've ever had to sleep in...

Generally I was impressed with the hostel but the room (#309) was far too hot at night with no way of regulating the heat. We have stayed here before and this time I noted that the kitchen was very well equipped with lots of new dishes and an ample supply too. On the negative side, we did try to go to the sauna one night but found two guys in their smoking a joint so we decided not to go in. Réponse de l'auberge: Hello John, Thanks for your feedback! If you ever were to be in that situation again, please notify hostel staff. We do not allow smoking of any kind on our premises. Believe me, as a non-smoker, I take this very seriously. Auberge de jeunesse très bien équipée. On regrette notre chambre trop petite pour 4 personnes (dont 2 logées en mezzanine accessible par un escalier qui ressemble plus à une échelle)

Une auberge-luxe située dans le village de Lake Louise. Chambres 4 lits avec toilettes/lavabo inclus (les douches - individuelles - ne sont jamais très loin de votre chambre). Bon rapport qualité/prix et chouette confort que vous voyagez seul(e) ou en groupe. Grand espace commun ambiance chalet. Bon restaurant accolant. Etape idéale dans les Rocheuses. Préférez-la à Banff si vous voyagez en voiture. Seul petit bémol : pas de petit-déjeuner compris et une cuisine commune en sous-sol un peu triste. That being said, running a hostel in a remote village within a National Park comes with a hefty price tag.
