It was great to see all the Singaporian famillies enjoying themselves and relaxing at he resort. I was one of the few non-locals at the resort. It is a long way from the CBD and the vibrant night life, but a great place to relax for a few days.

This hostel is a great value for groups only. Not for a single traveler. I went there as a single traveler and felt it was not the right place for me. Also, because there were so many groups there, the place got a bit noisy late at night with people staying up, talking and enjoying themselves. Sometimes playing loud music as well. Actually, this would not have been such a big deal had I been there with a group too but since I was there as a single traveler, it was disturbing. So I would advise the hostel to market itself more to groups than to single travelers like me.

Good place to stay although a bit noisy at night when people having a big cook up on the Bar-B-Qs decided to continue all night.

This was not really a Youth Hostel and should not be listed as such. I was charged £132.75 for 2 nights accommodation!!!! Location good for airport but not for main centre and attractions.

We arrived late night, but main front was closed. So it was not good service.

Extremely noisy every night with people using tables just outside our window every night until after midnight. There was also what sounded like a drug raid on our last night next door at 4:30 in the morning- very loud, frightening, disturbing.

This is not truly a hostel for international travelers. It is a campsite for local high school kids who want to party all night. Each night we'd wait until 12:45 am, call security and wait more than an hour until they had the kids under control. Sleeping before 3 am was impossible all 4 nights we stayed. The posted quiet time of 11:30 was a joke. Traveling with young children, this was an awful experience and not what an HI hostel is all about. I suggest HI release this hostel from its name as it does not stand for what HI stands for.

I think the room lacked a couple of chairs and perhaps a small table and the shower could have been better
