The conditions of the bath room for girls were not good at all. The floor of the shower had an old piece of wood and did not seem clean at all. The toilets were closed with a curtain, no door. The place was not clean and in the first hour i got some flea bites. NOT RECOMMENDED. I have stayed in much better HI Hostels, such as in Lima and Buenos Aires.

Yes the floor inside of the shower is made of a water proof tropical wood perfecly clean, the place is clean but is a very well conserved begining of 20th century house that speaks a lot about the history of art-novaue architecture in México, guess this customer must consider that the old style means dirty. The building architecture is old style but the furniture and matress are new, there are no fleas or anything like that.

If you just need a place to lay your head, this is a good place. Not recommended for people who look for comfort.

It was a friendly and quiet place. However if you wanted to, it was possible to party there aswell. The hostel was clean and had hot showers! Would recomend the place. The local knowlege was good and recommended good places to eat (cheap) and a safe area. Good place all round.
