We arrived at 12 and there was no one in reception, nor a note to say when they might be back - someone else had been waiting there for an hour. The hostel was open and people had clearly left their bags in reception, though nothing was locked. When we came back 2 hours later someone eventually turned up and showed us to our room - which was nice, though expensive as we were 3 and the room was for 4. The bathroom opposite our room was disgusting. The toilet was blocked for the whole time we were there, so we had to use the bathroom upstairs - which other people were already using. The girl was clearly overworked, running between and cleaning 3 separate hostels. Very poor indeed.

Very poor facilities, rooms and building were dirty. Toilets and showers were dirty and broken. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. It was disgraceful.

The bathroom was not that good that well kept, but still fine. Great location!

We have been interrailing along Europe and ended up in Piran. We have been in several hostels and this one is the worst of them all... We have paid 50eur/night in a double room at 30ยบ C. There were no shutters in the window, not even a curtain. There was shared WC (which is ok, but i expect to have a private one for 50eur), wiith NO LOCK. There was no curtain also in the bathtube so when someone got a shower all the bathroom was flooded. There was one bathroom per storie, one of which was out of order, and had a terrible smell of... your guess. In brief, if you ever go to Piran, DO NOT come to this hostel, is very expensive and is not comfortable at all. There are other hostels in the village which seem much better for the same price. Piran by the way is beautiful, but too expensive for the accomodation. Finally, I would like to call hihostels attention to carefulyy consider wether to continue recommending Alibi Hostel in Piran. Have a safe journey!

There was no possibility to make some tea, no common room to stay in. Very nice staff.
