We had a reservation for a double room. Instead of that we got an apartment for 4. Very nice view, good location if you have a car as well.

Owner was very welcoming-gave us a drink on arrival and a lift down to the town on departure, but it would've been helpful if his staff/helper could speak English. The fact that there were renovations taking place wasn't much of a problem (no noise caused by them). One word of warning though: the taxi from the front cost us 12 euros although this could have been because a hotel ordered it for us. The fact that we got a balcony and the view from it more than made up for the fact you have to walk 30 minutes to the town/beach. The kitchen was great too, even though we had to share it with a few grasshopers! Oh, and the Casino Metropol you get off the bus at is also called the Grand Casino-tell the driver where you want to get off-we missed it and ended up in Piran.
