The poor state of the house in Kranjska Gora is a disgrace to the International Hostel Ass.

We had 3-bed room. The room was little furnished (probably due to lack of space). A balcony would be fine but I understand that it is not possible to build it now. Beds were good. The sink was damaged, we rather did not use it. The price was good. In principle, for one-night stay it was good, if I have stayed there longer I would feel it more. Anyhow the hostel has a good potential and I wish it a lot of success. It is advertised on web that it is possible to pay with credit card but it did not work in practice.

Very disappointed with the overall functionality of this facility. Considering the cost, the toilet doors and shower doors could not be locked, lights did not work carpets were nailed to stairs and the outside of the building looked like a rusty tin hut, with polythene for a roof in some parts. The website gave a host of facilities available at this hostel and none were available e.g. laundry!! A must when on an activity holiday. The location was fine as the Hostel was within walking distance of all amenities but I would certainly have secound thoughts about using this facility again. It did not in any way spoil an excellent holiday.

Main problems: Hostel was rather dilapidated and looked a bit run down. No locks on any of the toilet doors or showers which we felt was unacceptable in mixed accommodation. We were not given any information about what was available in the way of food either in the hostel or around it. Some local information in English or even Slovene would have been really useful.

This hostel need to be renovated, it is very old. the building look like a darkness manor, some windows were cracked, inside nothing has been changed since a long time ago. There were not commun room, just the bedroom and a pub (I saw no one inside). In the toilets, there were not any roller towel. It was not possible to lock the door in the toilet and bathroom. It is good for one night! not more!
