Very clean and calm Hostel. I'm glad staff can speak Japanese. Far to Hualien station. Also far to the nearest bus stop.

We feel like back at home during our stay there. Mr and Mrs Chen treat us just like family member. Good environment, value for money.

This is the BEST hostel I've come across so far. Roger, the owner of the hostel, is very friendly and accommodating - he can speak English very well too. The hostel is nicely decorated, very clean and cosy - as if you are at your own home though the bed is a bit hard! It is quite a distance away from town but its quiteness and serenity are its strong point. The hostel has a very big front/backyard. You can see the mountains surrounding the hostel as it locates at the foothill. Roger seems to be well equipped with all the information/activities about Hualien. If I have a chance to visit Hualien again, I'll definitely choose this hostel again! Oh, this is one of the few hostels which provide breakfast!
