Although I had a slightly awkward and chilly reception when I called to extend my reservation initially--the employee seemed to be too busy to take my call and was a bit curt with me as a result--all was well once we arrived and Leith (spelling?) took care of us so warmly. The location can't be beat and we were happy to be able to hike from the hostel on one off the days, leaving the car in the parking lot. Sadly every single person in our dorm on the first night snored,but the second night was quiet. The kitchen and dining room were pleasant and we'll be back for sure. Thanks!

This is a cute, comfortable hostel with a well appointed kitchen and the whole place is spotlessly clean! Great hikes right out the door through a spectacular piece of the earth - including beaches. The one downside to this lovely location is that without a car you'd have a hard time getting there.

I have stayed at this hostel several times and each time I have enjoyed my stay. However, for the first time I had stayed in the dorm there were some guests that (for some reason) decided to save several of the bottom bunks. They did not sleep there but used the bunks to put there stuff there! Nice place to stay...hope those people don't return though.

One of the best hostel experiences. Your associate, Aurora, was incredibly welcoming and kind. Additionally, the site is clean and in an absolutely beautiful national seashore. Couldn't beat this location!

It would be nice if the hostel did not close from 10 am to 4:30. It would be nice to either stay at the hostel all day or have it open at 2:00.

We were not too comfortable, since we slept right next to a bathroom entrance and every female in the hostel (including about 25 girls scouts who slept outside the main building) had to walk past our beds to use the bathroom. Only late into the evening when all eventually came to rest I was finally able to sleep. Else all was lovely, thanks.

This was the most beautiful hostel I've ever seen. Plus, it had the friendliest staff and guests. I only wish that there were more private rooms and that I could have reserved them online.
