The bedrooms were extremely cold, with no heating. Location was out of the way, but stunning.

The staff told me they would be in at 7:30 AM to refund my key deposit. I hung out until 8:30 PM but they never showed up. I had to leave and had already wasted too much time. I left them a note to donate my deposit to the lighthouse restoration project. I also notice that the reservation fee on my credit card was not refunded, is this normal? I thought paying with cash would cover that.

unfortunantely, I developed an infection in my foot and was unable to keep my resevation. I was working with the Zoppe Circus in Redwood City and was looking forward to your visit on my day off. However , My foot took over my availability...I called that evening to let Piegeon Point know my situation, so to make my space available to someone else..... I was not greeted with much sympathy.......Stoped by the next day to possible book later .... no sucess .....Filled refund request...Would appreciate your understanding for a refund, Sincerely Christine Ferbet.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel! Information for guests was clearly presented. It was nice to talk to fellow travelers. Thanks for everything!

I'm terrible with names, but I think it was Michael (chill older guy with a surfer dude spirit) was the greatest ! Didn't catch the name of the younger guy who checked me out, but thanks to his pro-activity, I was made aware of a storm coming in and was able to leave early enough to get myself, gear and motorcycle back up the coast just before the rain came down. If not for him, I would have woken up at 7am and had to ride in the soaking rain to make my 9am meeting in SF. Kudos to Pigeon Point all around!!

The Wi-Fi was very slow . . . almost unusable. I wished I had made it to the hot tub . . . was surprised that it cost money, you needed a reservation and a partner. Other than that, a great stay; made some new friends.
