| I love Malabar Hostel and have stayed there several times before. It is a beautiful historic farmhouse with a wonderful front porch swing. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room are all great. The location is amazing with scenic vistas, farm scenery, pond, trees, gorgeous. I love walking up to the Bromfield Estate and taking the house tour, the wagon tour, viewing the museum, and gift shop. I've also taken the many hiking trails. I've enjoyed the past two managers (Betsy and Barb) very much, and the new hostel manager Brett is also very friendly, enthusiastic, and taking care of the hostel very, very well. Brett works at the Bromfield Estate so is very knowledge about the area and the history. Brett is a great hostel manager!! (215115) | |||

| Very good accomodations as expected. I've used hostels often over the years. Unfortunately through no ones fault, I was stuck with a top bunk. I'm 6'4", 210 lbs. and those bunks are designed for children or other little people. Needless to say getting up and down was interesting. Still, if that's the worst of my problems during a hostel stay I'll be happy. (202328) | |||

| If you're looking for a quaint and peaceful part of the countryside that resembles a place strait from a Thomas Kinkade painting, then Malabar Farm Hostel will accommodate your taste just well. Not only is Malabar Farm conveniently located within an hour of Cleveland and Columbus but sits on one of the most scenic and beautiful areas in the Ohio countryside. I found it to be a most relaxing stay, with friendly staff and fellow travelers to talk to and interact with. Cozy beds, well furnished living room and kitchen definitely gives this hostel a warm comforting bed and breakfast atmosphere to it. Small ponds and meadows, low rolling hills and historic landmarks made it a worthwhile tourist attraction as well. You can't beat the prices or experience when compared to the dull cliche hotel option. I took a road trip to Ohio recently and I can honestly say that my choice to stay at the hostel made my vacation that much more rewarding. Hostel response: | |||
