I never thought I'd be using a hostel for just convenience...but I had to work late in the city of Chicago - until 10pm, then had to be up very early in the morning to catch a flight...which would normally mean taking the regional train all the way home, and then coming all the way back in. Instead, I just spent the night at the hostel and walked a few blocks to the train to the airport. I got a full night of sleep instead of a full night of commuting.

One roomate a little disruptive, seemed possibly mentally distressed or ill. Other than that our stay was great! Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed the stay. Made a couple of friends. Had a great time. Felt better than my stays in hotels.

Bed and towel sheets were already dirty (used) at my arrival which were claimed to be clean..toilet in my room and the hygiene of common places especially coaches of the 2. floor were highly needs revision

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes guests are checked into unclean rooms based on guest requests. Sometimes other guests are checked into rooms with different people already checked in but someone decided to sleep in another person"s bed. My aplogies for your experience, it is not our practice to check guests in or deliberately put in them in dirty rooms. Paul

one women who was working on Sunday morning in the kitchen sneezed several times without covering her mouth and nose while wiping bowls for the breakfast table.... I cleaned my own utensils and cooked my breakfast instead.

This is terrible, you may have observed one of the guests using our self service kitchen. Both kitchen employees are male and hopefully know proper hygiene Paul

Arrival date: 21 October 2009 Nights: 4 Some of the Europeans do not understand that beds are assigned. Staff should be sure they understand this.

Thanks. We try hard to communicate this but some guests (regardless of where they are from) will do whatever they want to do with no regards for others. We will keep trying! Paul
