The bathroom could be updated a little and there was one guy behind the reception who was extremely unfriendly compared to all the other very helpful staff. This was somewhat in the evening..

This hostel is great. The staff was really nice and always helpful. The kitchen/bathrooms were much cleaner than in most other hostels. I loved pancackes in the morning but some fruits or cereals als healthy alternative would be nice.

Breakfast is one of those things that we are currently on the fence about, as we receive quite a few positive reviews of the pancakes but also quite a few negative. i am still bit upset, because when i had booked the hostel, i was been charged 10% as security deposit and at the time of checkin i had asked them to adjust that, and i was told that the advance that was paid online will not be charhged and i had to pay the entire amount upfront and later even my credit card was charged. so i am upset about the same.

We apologize for the confusion. The booking engine charges a %5 booking fee for every reservation made on HIHostels. Everything was perfect, great guests and staff, but the music from bars outside was quite loud. I know you can't change the location, but maybe there are cheap ways of "soundproofing" the rooms a bit?

Good sleep is vital. please ask your neighbors keep their voices down after midnight. I wish I could have had good sleep in last 7 nights.

My only complaint about the hostel is that it was very loud. The bars and restaurants are right underneath the dorm windows and the noise continued until 3am on a weekday. It made it nearly impossible to sleep.
