I got infected with bedbug bites that have been burning, hurting and itching for over a week now! I've written to the national office, but the Santa Monica office has not yet replied. I want a full refund for my pain and suffering. Besides the horrible bites, I have had to wash all my clothes, dry clean some items and disinfect my suitcase for eggs. When I arrived at my room, there was no mattress. The staff brought it back. Obviously, someone before me had problems. Later, I was upgraded to a new room, but by then I had over 30 bites on my body that were inflamed and infected. The manager gave me a $15 discount when I checked out, but I suffered more than that. I'm still suffering!

My first American hostel, breakfast was good, tv room could've been a bit more organised and internet was expensive but other than that, good, great free trips!

Free breakfast is great, suggest whole grain products not white bagels, etc. Desk staff very helpful. Clean hostel. I will be back.

Has good facilities and excellent location. But the sheer size of the hostel makes it quite an impersonal stay. A hostel run more like a hotel. There were fleas in the dorm I stayed in and I as well as another french girl got fleabites during the night. But I don't think it's something chronic to the hostel but more about one fellow traveller bringing it in the dorm room with him.

When I landed in LAX airport, I followed the traffic guide from google map, but it was too late to catch the last bus which on traffic guide list. If providing traffic advice in confirm email when customer book in, they will appreciate !
