Noisy bed disturbs the other guests when turning over. Noisy heating system located next to bed is not good idea.

Mens bathroom was not always so clean. location is a bit out of the way, in what seemed to be a little rough area.

cleanliness was ok, the bathrooms were being worked on i think. no problelm. the girl who checked me in was excellent. i had taken the red eye, and was just going to store my backpack till later, as i had to wait in line all day for concert ticket. but she checked me in early, so i got a lower bunk, which i greatly appreciated. the phones on my floor didn't work. but as usual the stay was good, this is a good hostel

I loved my stay in NY. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and there was everything you could possible need during your stay available.And the tours available were outstanding, I wish I could have taken them all. I will be back and I have talked to many people about my stay and about joining Hostel International. Thank you so much.

I love this Hostel. I go from California to New York City many times and stay at this hostel so often that some of the staff recognize me. I feel safe, comfortable, and welcome here.
