The road sign is not clear so that it is not easy to find. But, the staff is very friendly, I like them very much.

The best place to spend some peaceful moments in Switzerland! I throughly enjoyed sipping my tea by the lake! WOW! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Excellent location, not far from the station, and easy access to the mountains via the railway. The free bus service (with guest card) is pretty handy too.

Late check in time compared to other hostels. Website advertises 25 min walk to hostel from train station however we found it to be closer to 40 minutes with back packs. Lots of children in hostel running around screaming during our stay. Fresh fruit needed at breakfast.

The booking was wrongly received; problably due to complicated internetsite. I thought I had made a reservation for a family room for 2 men and 3 women, but unfortunately we were put into a mens dorm and a womens dorm. To undo this reservation was very difficult and it costed me a lot of persuation. It was not due to unwillingness, but due to unclear booking at the site. Might be worthwile to take a look at that.

Good location on the lake, although difficult to walk from train station with rolling suitcases over gravel path along the lake. Suggest taking the bus! Buses very convenient although often they stopped in the dorf, not the closest bus stop to the hostel. Still only a 10 minute walk. Good food. We stayed during a time that there were noisy children in school groups running around the hostel, even after the 10:00 quiet time.

Good location if you want to stay in Interlaken Ost, not to be confused with Interlaken West. Located on the river with great views and kayaking available although Interlaken west is the more happening place.
