We thought we were booking a female dorm...but it turns out all the rooms are coed. Not something we expected at all...so we were pretty upset about that. The sheets are clean, but the blankets don't seem like they are. There is breakfast included...but the line was extremely long and slow each morning we were there, so we ended up grabbing breakfast elsewhere. The plus side is that there are 20 minutes of free internet.

A very good place to stay in barcelona, although if compared to portugal it is a bit expensive

This hostel was not clean, comfortable, or secure. There were bugs in my bed, not bed bugs, but literally ants with wings in my bed. The first night I had no pillow or blanket, only a top sheet and it was very cold. There was also a very dirty old lady living in my hostel room, she had been there for at least a month. She would stare and yell at us and made the experience very uncomfortable. This is NOT youth hostel like it says, the day of our departure the hostel bottom floor was filled with older people waiting to check in. Also, the breakfast is very poor quality, even the cereal is not good. Do yourself a favor by staying in a less centrally located hostel, trust me, the walk will be worth it.

During the vacation I stayed 4 nights in the youth hostel with my 2 daughters. There was a group of French boys in our floor that was very noise, came home at 4 in the night, very drunk. It felt unpleasant and we didn't feel save anymore. The staff didn't say anything, unbelievable! It wasn't possible to lock the showers, because there was no door, just a curtain...

The first night, the showers of our floor were broken, they got only the water pipe on. They fixed it on the following day. Bad rate for the noise. The bedroom doors are extremely noisy to open/close, and people do not respect the silence law and talk loud and slam doors at 2 in the morning. The breakfast service is poor, people are not kind and the cafeteria can badly support 10 people at the same time. B-fast times are not good as well, from 08h15 to 10h... On the first day we arrived at 09h55 and the lady did not alow us to at least grab a cup of coffee or juice.

NESTE DIA 21/10 FIQUEI NO PRIMEIRO PAVIMENTO E OS BANHEIROS ESTÃO MUITO RUINS. MAS JA NO DIA 26/10 FIQUEI NO SEGUNDO PAVIMENTO E AI OS BANHEIROS SAO MELHORES. Observação: sala do café tem que ser aumentada. Mas eu retornaria neste hostel.
