The structure is new, rooms are big and clean and staff really kind. It's in a central position even if some hostel are closer but not so new and clean!!! so it's up to you what you prefer..just walk 5 minutes more...and area is safe and full of pubs so there are always people walking around ..

The only comment I wish to make is that I thought the hallway carpet needed a good shampoo but other than that we found all the services etc very good. It was value for money but as you are aware our $ goes no where in the UK, but we enjoyed our stay in the UK.

Kitchen smelt like cat shit, and we didn't get lockers in one of our dorm rooms, otherwise friendly staff, good facilities.

Staff were very helpful. Close to the centre of the city. Quality & availability of meals was great. An excellent example of what a hostel should be.

it was a great stay in the hostel, every thing was very nice but the food was quite expensive and the the breakfast should be included or at least make it cheaper. very clean and wonderful room. very nice kitchen, 5 stars hostel

Just one critical point,the room for 8 females,1 shower and toilet could prove to be a bit "tight fitting" It was not so comfortable sleeping in the bunkbed in front of the toilet when 7 other females are continually running during the night.Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend your hostel.

I had enjoyed my full stay at Edinburgh. I can never forget the hopitality rendered by the staff. I have been excellently shown the directions to the places, which I wanted to visit.

The staff did not seem to take my comments about the leaky window seriously. It was difficult to get the attention of the one person who served food who was usually away from the lobby area. There were not enough plugs in the room for all 8 of us to plug in our cell phones/computers all at the same time. There was no place to hang up our wet towels, except on the wooden bed frames which would not be good for the wood, and would be in the way of the person on the lower bunk.
