I thoroughly enjoyed my return to staying in a hostel after very many years. I found it friendly, helpful, adequate as accommodation and very reasonably priced. My one negative observation on renewing my use of hostels is a consequence of 24 hour opening, probably particularly applying to city hostels. Youngsters who want to go clubbing come in in the not so small hours noisily, being sick etc. I know this can happen in hotels too but it makes more impact when sharing rooms. I wonder if people could either be warned on booking and on arrival that this is not acceptable or, which might be organisationally complicated, separate those who wish to come in after midnight from those who do not. But thanks for an otherwise excellent service. I shall be back.

Simple place, no tours or other activities organised. Staff did their job but did not go out of their way. Overall facilities were ok.

i had a great time in glasgow and i really have to thank kaitlin from reception for suggesting what to do on our night in town. she was alot of help, called us a taxi and i´m so glad that she was on that night, because i can´t think of a better way to spend one night in a great city.

- The rooms lacked toilet brushes and partly coat hooks as well as cabinets (with seperated pockets and hangers) that could make longer stays more comfortable - the beds and mattressess were terribly noisy

The signposting to the hostel can be better. Simply send people, coming from Park Drive/Woodlands Road, straight into the Park Terrace (on their right). Rather than the current (starting left) wild goose chase style signposting with many turns.

The hostel was great but as a female traveling alone I found the location a little out of the way and deserted for walking back from town at night.
