Excelente a receptividade. Quartos bem arejados e limpos. Transporte público (auto-carros) de fácil acesso a partir do Albergue. Próximo à praia, ótimo para caminhadas no final da tarde. Recomendarei aos amigos.

The HI hostels in Portugal need to review the price of internet. They charge 1 euro for 15 minutes of internet, what is an absurd. They need to find a new system for internet access.

The hostel and especially the staff were really nice. But you should definitely put a big sign on the website saying that there are no lockers available! I never would've gone to this hostel (and I will never recommend it to anyone to go there) if I had known that there is no place to lock in my belongings!

"Poor efficiency of service" refers to the fact that in the evening, when I arrived, there was no toilet paper and the next morning at 10 am it was still not replaced.

To lock a kitchen is a pian in the arse, especially when you can see the cat going through your stuff from the window... The pillows are pathetic. Having the bathroom light go out when you are in the midle of a s··t is just brilliant. What idiot thought up that idea? I wont be staying when I return to Porto next month

dinner, only € 6,00 was poor, even when it's cheap I donºt expect to eat spaghetti without sauce, or is that common in Portugal? other than that, I had a pleasant stay!

the location may have been a bit far from the railway station but it's only a short cab ride. It's a nicer cab ride at night when you're riding by the river. The Duoro is not too far away either.

It's a great hostel, except for the pain of getting just one key per room. This just DOESN'T work for hostels, unless is a private room, which was not my case (I was travelling by myself and didn't know the other girls in the room). As a consequence of this system, the room door was most of the times unlocked, of course, no one would bother to take it downstairs when they were going for breakfast or to the toilet or even at night. Very bad system. The lame excuse I got was that the hostel had so many beds, so if they gave on key to each person it would be too many keys for them to keep...Suggestion: work with electronic cards or find another solution, but guests' security shouldn't be jeopardize just because it's more convenient for you to have fewer keys...
