The hostel is a good value, good place to stay while in Coimbra.

The kitchen has a few equipamnet, like plates, fork, knife and spoon, but the living room is very comfortamble.

Quite nice, but the system of giving one key per room just doesn't work for hostels. The room door wouldn't close unless it was locked, so it stayed wide open while we were sleeping because no one wanted to take the key downstairs or get up to open the door to late comers (and there were no locks in the room...) Very very very bad system; please give a key to each guest. Often there were people smoking (maybe outside but the smoke got everywhere). On the other hand, the staff members were really great.

That was very pleasant place for stay on my travell. I can´t forget to mention very helpfull staff!!!

Good hostel, but I don't understand why this hostel requires full HI membership whereas other countries will give you a temporary card with stickers for 1 or 2 euros extra.

Really cheap! Nice rooms and breakfast. It's on the top of a hill, so when we got there with our luggage we got tired, but there is a bus that brings you there, and without luggage it's ok even walking. Only bad thing: the kitchen didn't have enough plates and glasses..

I've stayed here 3 days, 1 day it was not clean, that was the day when a big schoolclass came, fot the rest it was really clean. Even the serving of the breakfast is better than in the other hi hostels. It's all about attention. The kitchen is great, no problems when cooking your own meal. I liked my room and the view. I'm excited about this hostel.
