| I had a private room and part of the window was missing in the bathroom, which isn't ideal when its winter at my time of staying. Also light didnt work in the bathroom. We encountered 2 members or staff, the lady in the evening lacked english but apart from that we were ok. The gentleman in the morning of our leaving appeared a bit rude and didnt really want to deal with us. (206306) | |||

| Gostei muito dos cães, eles compoem o ambiente e fazem do hostel um lugar mais alegre e agradável. Os quartos do andar de baixo estão com mofo, e poeira, sou alérgico e passei mal no quarto ao lado da recepção.
No mais fiquei muito satisfeito.

| I'd never been in a place so dirty, so bad. It was extremely expensive too. I found hotels in the same area, far more cheap.
Please don´t send anyone else to that horrible place again.

| Apologies for writing a late feedback . I have been a HI member since 1994 and this has been the worst experience.
1. I was charged USD 160 for a trip to Colca Canyon in Arequipa. Others on my tour had paid USD 25. Adding cost of stay in HI Arequipa of USD 27. A profit margin of USD 108!!!. I usually trust travel desks at HI but this was fleecing.
2. There was no pickup as promised in Arequipa. They provided number of the wrong hostel – when I landed there, they blamed Lima- thankfully they arranged a transfer.
3. To top it,The HI in Arequipa had the audacity to charge USD 2 for milk inspite of the blatant overcharging on the trip.
4. The toilets in the dorm rooms stink - it is a toilet cum bathroom and is very small. The towel hook is directly over the urinal.
5. They guided me on the wrong tour of Lima obviously for high commissions
6. Is there any way you can arrange a refund of my arequipa trip - have kept all the receipts. Am pissed off at being taken for a ride by HI.
