| The onbly problem of this hostel is that it's so far from Alta. They can pick up you on a 100 NOK charge, there are also some busses going downtown but you also can hitchhike or go by walking to the Alta museum, which is basically the only thing to see here. Generally speaking it's a very good hostel, the staff is sweet and friendly. The only weak point is breakfast, which could be improved. (223341) | |||

| we booked two beds online and some how the hostel's did not have our reservation in their computer system. The staff had to struggle for a while to pull our reservation out. And then informed us that there were no more beds available and gave us a two bed room instead. We were happy. The hostel is quite far away from town and there is only one bus passes by on Sunday. Ends up we and another person had to walk for and then hitchhikeed into town. There were four French people we met in the hostel informing us that they had to walk about 1-1/2 hour from the alta museum to the hostel. The hostel can consider to provide pick up service at a reasonable price.
