| I found 1 member of staff rather brisk and unsmiling - pity, as the rest were lovely. I obseved his behaviour with other customers and found he treated everybody in the same clipped way - not very friendly! | ||

| The hostel was very good. Lots of things were right with the hostel and the accomodation, thought the room tended to get stuffy with little ventilation and it was difficult to achieve any more throughput of air. | ||

| The overall aspects are relatively good. Here, I want to make complain about a Japanese male receptionist Yoshi, I suspect he is a racist. From the following two aspects can be reflected; the first point, according to my observation, his expression towards tourists from China always looks like moody, or say that like others owed him a lot of money. Secondly, from my experience, he tried to oblige me to check out from Wellington city YHA, because he said I this hostel policies for all guests is that any one can not continuously live more than ten days; the fact of mine actually not because I have not lived in there more than 10 days once. Right now, I just wonder if a receptionist like him is a eligible one for a YHA receptionist. | ||

| Ufficial complain: The Wellington Hostel reception didn't want to apply the discount due to my HiHostels Membership. I asked twice to verify and they responded me 'it was already applied'. From my point of view they should give me back 28.8 $ nzd, cause the price of a single private is 65 $ per night, instead of the full price 72.2 $ per night. so Payed 288.8 $ instead of 260$. Can you help me to get back my money ? | ||

| My partner and I stayed in a double room on the fifth floor. I found it difficult to store our things, a couple shelves or some cubbies would have made us feel less like we were still living out of our backpacks. Other than that, we had a great time. The hostel was quiet and the staff quite nice. | ||
