Everything was great. We only met the staff upon check-in and had no trouble durng our stay so we were not in need to be provided extended service and thus I cannot judge upon quality of service in case of dire need. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were very clean (shower/toilets/beds) !

Shower was a bit clumsy to use without getting the whole bathroom wet. We bought some towels which were quite useless at drying... would like to see private rooms with double bed or twins instead of bunks.

It is located in a very comfortable place in Amsterdam. Not so far from the Central Station, very close to Museum Square and many restaurants and shops around. But very peaceful. You can get discount card for restaurants or for rental bicycle in buffet. Wi-Fi access is always in good condition at the lobby. Staffs are friendly and willing to help guests. The rooms or bathrooms are clean. You can use locker with PIN number, when you would like to keep your belongings in safe place.

when i did the reservation (private room with two beds), i received a confirmation that said that you could not say it there was going to be a bubkbed or two beds, but arriving at the hostel, i found out that the hostel only have bunkbeds. also, the confirmation said that the private room had shower, toilet, sheets and towels, but, when i arrived, i foun out that the hostel does not have towels. also, the manager who atended me when i asked about the towels was very rude "it's a hostel. you're supposed to bring your own towel".

The hostel Stayokay next to Vondelpark is located very good. You live very central but it is quite and you feel save in the neighbourhood. I really liked the stay. I booked a room with 20 beds and was happily suprised when I saw, that you really don´t feel like 19 other women are sleeping in the same room. You found a good solution to divide the room into compartments! But living with 19 other women means a lot of dirt for example in the shower. Maybe you should clean those rooms more often. Your staff is very friendly and has an open ear for questions. In addition the breakfast service was really good for a hostel of that size. I never thought that there can be so much variety. All together, it was good and I would like to stay another time in your hostel. I really can recommend your hostel and I hope I could help you wih that rate! sincerly yours, maren demant
