| According to the price it's a good value and the place itself is rather charming. However the staff is careless about you and unhelpful. First we arrived at 4:30 pm and it was a note on the the gate saying that it will open at 6. No mention of this whatsoever on the website, nor in the confirmation e-mail. When the guy showed up he just told that is was because someone was on vacation and didn't even apologize or felt sorry for us. Then he was trying to hit on my girlfriend. The next day we asked for the train schedule and they were unable to give us information. We asked to check on the internet, we were replied it was out of order. | We only stayed for one night in Fes but we had an AMAZING experience. Abdullah, the manager looked after us as if we were family. We took up his offer and did a guided tour of the medina and it was one of the highlights of out trip! Definetly recommend. (225924) | |||

| Staff is very friendly and trustworthy - I don't usually do guided tours but the ones they offer are actually worth it. The only odd thing about the hostel is is closes from 3p-6p every day. Other than that it was one of the best places I have stayed! (211866) | |||

| The rooms are very hot, don´t have fans, lockers or privacity. The manager tried for times sell trips and guides to the medina for expensive prices. After 10:00 we don´t enter in the hostel because the door is locked. The locations isn´t good for know the medina (6Km). So, I can´t recommend this hostel for backpackers. (212984) | |||

| We visited Fes Youth Hostel as a family of four. We found it a relaxed and peaceful haven where the staff were welcoming and helpful. The weather was hot but the partially covered outside area gave good shade where there was a cool place to sit and chat. (213488) | |||

| Good hostel, not in the best location but very clean and nice people.
Big dissappointment were the opening hours: between 10 and 12.00 and 15.00-18.00 you couldnt stay in the hostel and you have to be back again by 10pm!!
