in general good, but they don't report in the web that you have to leave from 10am to 4pm for cleaning the rooms although you will not check out at the next day. And the curfew is at 12am. Hostel response: Thank you for your comment. We are sorry for making you feel bad. When we clean the room, we supposed to open the door for ventilation. For security of all passengers,anybody can not be staying in the room. We try our best for making your stay more comfortable. We are looking forward to your next stay!

I had an EXCELLENT stay at the Shin-Osaka YH. It was a delightful surprise and I'm glad I picked there to stay. I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends who visit Japan. I've never stayed in a hostel before, but this experience makes me want to stay at more. Very friendly staff, very cheap stay, and right in the middle of Shin Osaka. Every YH have their own special aspects and always low charges. We are happy to be so close to Osaka City to make travelling in Osaka as comfortable as possible. It's amazing how kind the staff is. They all welcome us guests to enjoy our travels, and even talk with us casually about anything. I didn't return one night, and though I though of calling them to let them know, I decided not to. I thought they wouldn't worry, since I'm an adult and calling them seemed almost like checking in with parents. The next morning, I found out that they waited for me, wondering if I'd return. I thanked them with special gifts I had picked up nearby at a specialty food store in Shinsaibashi called Kaldi. They were so grateful, and even I was very relieved to convey my thanks.
