This hostel was very far from Florence. Would have been a nice place to enjoy the vineyards if you had a car. Not a lot to do in Tavarnelle.

Efficiency of Service- This place is not open for checkouts at the normal time. It was like 1600 or 1700. The attendant was gone from about 1130 to about 1630. So we couldn't even store our backpacks in the hostel while waiting to check in. Very inconvenient.

Good central location but breakfast very disappointing. Also inconvenient when credit cards not accepted, only cash.

The staff is sensational, very helpful and friendly. The hostel is very cheap and offer good quality room and services, such as the free wireless internet. It´s in a perfect location to stay as a base to travel to the Tuscan area, we travelled by car to Siena, Montereggio, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, etc. On the other hand, if you want to explore Firenze only, it´s a bit far away.

the most beautiful setting, and the care of the people running the place makes it unforgettable. My family is so happy we'll be surely going back, for longer this time!!!

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. breakfast was easy to get and enjoyable. the front sidewalk looking across the water - so beautiful - and grocery stores nearby.
