Excellent breakfast (for an Italian hostel) included. The evening meal is pretty good value as well. Can be a little difficult to find: keep walking from the train station to the River Po, cross the bridge and continue all the way until you reach the Crimean war monument. Follow the 'Ostello de Gieventu' signs from here.

This hostel was extremely difficult to find. The people at the tourist information desk were not very helpful, and when I called the hostel to ask for directions, they were not very nice.

Family run hostel with a family atmosphere which really helps a lone traveller feel at home. Efficient reception with everything explained. Would definitely go again probably next year and perhaps stay longer.

This hostel is really cheap and provides a good breakfast. There isn't a kitchen but they do provide dinner and you can get a huge bowl of pasta and some fruit or yoghurt for only 4€50. There were plenty of showers and toilets so there was never a queue. The lockers in the rooms were massive so you could put your bag/suitcase in them. It was also really quiet on a night. However it was quite strict and there wasn't a common room so it was difficult to meet other guests. It's quite a way out of town but there is a bus which stops about 5 mins away. We would recommend it, but it definitely isn't a party hostel.

Great location and good facilities, including dinner at the hostel - the pasta was pretty good. Just a tip - the pasta menu flyer is for microwaved packaged pasta not fresh. Go for the pasta from the menu of the day.
