| The staff and service were great! My room was clean but smelt a little of bleach all day. (233554) | |||

| Extremely rude and unhelpful staff member when we checked in (late pm) Terrible location, makes going out in the evening difficult as its in the middle of nowhere and you need two buses to get there which run infrequently in the evening. Sheets were falling apart and the showers were dirty. I would NOT RECOMMEND staying here, even though its the only hostel, its not worth a penny. (223810) | |||

| Cheap and had big lockers and plenty of showers and toilets. However it didn't provide breakfast and had no kitchen. The beds weren't that great and the bed sheets weren't entirely clean. The room doors didn't lock automatically when shut. The internet was expensive. It is also located up a huge hill which isn't walkable even without luggage so you have to catch a bus, which takes 20 mins to get there from town. Also if you arrive to Piazza Principe station you have to walk 10 mins to the bus stop but it does stop and Brignole station so that might be worth bearing in mind. Overall it wasn't a bad hostel and there are very few in Genoa. However, it's probably not actualy worth going to the town in the first place as it seems to be completely dead and it quite deserted and sinister at night. (212805) | |||

| I loved the fact that the youth hostel was outside the city center -- it was quiet at night and also cooler. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean, except for the sheets:-(( (207907) | |||

| First, I don't really get, why 60-year-old men still go to Youth-Hostels?!?!?
Anyway: Nice view, friendly staff...well, the connection could be slightly better ;) Buses every 20 min (Sorry, that's Italy: Means +-10 min's) (214581) | |||

| Nice hostel, clean, great view on the whole city, good price. We had problems to find the hostel even though we had GPS, becauce it is mislabeled. Staff was no very helpfull and friendly. Finally the general impression is good. (210158) | |||

| Had everything you would really want from a hostel, though it was extremely far from the city center or anything else of interest, though you can get a cheap bus pass for the day. But not too bad, I would stay there again. (208006) | |||
