This isn't the place to go if you're looking for a central location, but it's in a nice secluded spot on Galway Bay, minutes from the water, which I'd imagine would be especially nice in the summer. We were the only guests here, and the owner was very friendly with a nice dog named Dee O'Gee. Rooms were a bit shabby but fine. There are no locks or lockers to speak of, but the hostel is remote enough that you only need to worry about your fellow patrons.

Location is perfect, near the sea. Kitchen and rooms were dirty. Staff very friendly. Free internet. Rooms couln't be locked in any way. 5 min walk to the ocean. Loved the cats and dog. Nice garden.

This hostel was smelly and dirty and completely out of the way going to Galway. It was in the middle of nowhere and we chose not to stay here because it was so awful. The pictures were most deceiving.
