- Very beautiful hostel. - Dana at reception is great- patient, helpful, friendl! - Many restaurants around the corner. - Discount with membership card. NEGATIVE SIDES: - the 4 bed dorm is facing the courtyard. In summer very noisy, in winter you get all conversations from smokers until early in the morning - take your ear plugs! - the lockers in the dorm have a tiny lock, hold on to any valuables - there is ONE bathroom for all dorms, also being used by anybody else who feels like it incl. kitchen staff! Waits for 10 mina+ are common - Too many Americans, which are loud, only get drunk and shout as if China was theirs. I suggest to avoid the common area if you want a Chinese experience. General: - Night market is a tourist trap, makes London look cheap - Do NOT start talks with pretty Chinese ladies who only want to have tea, i.e. try to rip you off by taking you to overpriced bars or "tea houses". Really nice common area, sign on the wall saying not to bring in outside food or drinks put me off a bit, since beer and food was pretty expensive compared to other places, really felt more like a small hotel than a hostel. (229616)

VERY GOOD hostel. Loved the courtyard, and inside room - perfect relaxation after BEijing. Such a friendly and peacefull place so close to the center of everything is just incredible! Thanks a lot, and please keep it that way! Try the honey and Lemon tea! Marlene (Germany) (227847)

A fantastic hostel! Friendly, clean, and conducive to meeting fellow travelers (or relaxing alone and reading one of the many books the hostel keeps in the main area). They set up trips for you, and there is a restaurant with Chinese and Western food. The staff puts out fresh flowers every day. I would recommend it to anyone. (223032)
