There was an employee that was very disrespectful and unkind. I did not get his name, but we had to deal with him for different evenings. He had very long brown hair and was at the desk October 20, 23, and the 26th at the Plaka travelers and students Inn. I overheard him treating others with the same indifference and disdain. He does not like tourists. He would pretend not to understand their questions and frustrate them and make them feel stupid. My phone card would not work in the phone and my bank needed me to contact them to know that I was traveling so that they would release my money. I had to go to different hotels in the area and use their phones as your man wouldn't help me. I had never been to Greece and really would have appreciated some compassion and assistance when I first arrived. Please let me know that you received this feedback. dlhumiston@gmail.com

The locations and the staff were the best....they were very nice and helpful....I loved it a lot!

I had a very wonderful time in Athens and I don't believe that it would have been so without my stay at the AST Inn!

Seems to have cost too much, tourist season being over. Location was wonderful. One staff member at the desk was not very friendly. Noise from the hostel bar ceased around 11 and so was not a problem. I'd stay here again.

We were informed on our booking form that sheets were supplied. We were only given a bottom sheet and were told to pay for the other sheets. If sheets are not included this must be noted on the website and booking form. The luggage area was way too small and dirty. The staff are helpful too. A kitchen would be a usefull addition, as it is difficult and expensive to buy take out/restaurant meals.

Air conditioning not working properly. Sheets for bed were dirty and new sheets cost 1 euro. They only offer for free thick blankets. (emphasizing that the temperatures in Athens were warmer than 32 degrees!!!) I don't recommend at all.

Free wi-fi and free computer terminals - very useful. Bathrooms - not the best, but not the worst.

Good place to stay - very near the main sites. Price of a double room compares with a hotel room however and there are plenty of hotels in the area too.
