It is a place that is a bit of a non-event... but good enough for a few nights.It's in areally dirty area though... so don't judge Athens by it! Close to food shops and a free drink each night...

We really enjoyed staying here, and joining the walking tour of Athens, which was excellent value, not to be missed!

Sono al meno 4 piani senza ascensore. Non ci sono lockers. La zona non solo non è centrica ma sembra pericolosa, di sera è totalmente al buio e bisogna tornare in taxi. Lift doesn't work. The location is far from down town, during evening is dark and seems a danger zone. You will need a taxi to come back late. There are no lockers to left the bagage. I knew a few hostels around the world, even cheaper, and this was the worst.

The Aphrodite staff was great to work with! Definitely received value for the money spent, would recommend highly to travelers

My comments again: Due to ferry delayed 5 hours while arrival at Drossos Hostel, and they accept explaination and reimburse Euro 30 back to me the following day. But Aphrodite couldn't accept my wife explanation because of the delayed ferry. Please Aphrodite consider paying my wife back Euro 30, because it's reasonable. My wife travels every year and stays Hostel every year too. Thanks.

Had a bike stolen outside the hostel at 1 in the afternoon, locked up well. KEEP YOUR BIKES IN THE LEFT LUGGAGE! -- Take it from an idiot. But c'mon, 1 in the afternoon?....

The staff was neither polite nor helpful. The location was not convenient. It was nice to have a bar in the basement but loud partiers could be heard throughout the night. I would not go back.

Great staff, but...dirty bathrooms, very hard to find, and too many noisy backpackers at the basement bar until the wee hours of the morning.

We had a room on ground floor. That was rather noisy sometimes at night because of all the drunkards at the bar in the basement. The toilet on ground floor wasn't that clean either. The room itself and the showers were pretty clean though.
