Stuffs are very friendy and the breakfest is satisfying! It also very convenience to access the hostel canuse it nexts to the bus station and the public transportation is very well in Berlin.

Dieter was terrific. Breakfast was fantastic. We've been traveling across Europe and so far breakfast and the service has been the best. There weren't a large number of people in the rooms, which was nice. The only complaint we have is that there were noise restrictions that weren't enforced. There were often people yelling in the middle of the night.

This is definitely a youth hostel for a certain kind of person. If you're big on going out and enjoying the nightlife of a city til all hours, then this hostel is not really for you. Personally, I'm more for quietly exploring a city, and this hostel is great for that. Though not in the city centre, it's only an U-Bahn ride away, and the surrounds and nearby Tegel are beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay, it was a good base for a quiet life.

Ok this place is not near the city and I knew that so it didn't worry me, but others were concerned how far out it was. The breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. The showers are crazy and you have to see them to see what I'm about. But a good thing, theirs a good turn over in the showers, so you don't wait long. I enjoyed this place, but a lot of school kids.

a bit out of the way and little old fashioned ( a bit like an old army barracks), but it was clean, the staff very helpful, good standard breakfast, it was bus and train ride into berlin, about 20 mins, 15 euros for 5 of us travel on a one day ticket, I would go back again as its a bit more peaceful than staying in berlin
