The only good, private accomadation is not much cheaper than the hotels in Verudella. Other towns in Croatia have people waiting at bus stations holding acomadation cards - not so in Pula...you need to go to Travel Agents. The Tourist Info office beside the Forum were direecting me to hotels Travel Agents but the best Travel Agent, at the bus station, found me a private accomadation flat.

Shame coffee isn't included in breakfast- we had to pay extra or drink some disgusting drink, but I suppose everywhere does things differently. Other guests were noisy but this is not the hostel's fault.

We enjoyed our stay at this hostel. The rooms themselves were good, although it may have been better to have more than one shower per cabin (as there were 4 rooms with 4-6 beds in each sharing just one shower). Also, a door rather than a flimsy shower curtain between the shower and the communal bathroom/hallway might have also been good. But the location is great! And the staff were very nice.

You really can't get a better location than this. The hostel is actually on the beach. Like most of the Adriatic, the beaches are made of lots of rocks which really hurt your feet, so get some of those plastic sandal things to be able to get in and out of the water. Breakfast is a typical light affair, nothing special but the bar is cheap and open till midnight. If you miss a meal, arrive late, you can always order a delicious and really cheap pizza from Pula centre via the bar services. A shot of vodka is 80 cents and a 1/2 litre of beer 2 euros. The hostel is a relatively long walk from the centre of pula, but its the kind of place that you don't really want to leave. Great atmosphere, friendly and the water - fabulous. If you're lucky, you may get to watch a free water-polo match when the locals play at home. This is well worth it!

Dear Sirs, I'm very glad about this feedback, because I have intention to send you an email to give you my opinion. We spent 1 day in Venezia and 1 day in Trieste in hostel and we are satisfied of all: confort ,clean,location and so on... but concerning the hostel in PULA (Croazia) I have no words to describe the situation: in this location (beautiful in front of the sea), the staff have hostel and camping together.! Bathroom and dormitory was very dirty, everywhere there was a boys and girls many of them were to sleep in tent out of dormitory, reception plenty of sling bags... in conclusion we have paid in advance without to stay here!! I hope that your staff could take action urgently also for hygenic precaution against direction of this hostel.!! Best regards, m.paola bolesina

It is an amazing place, totally worthy value. If I could make a tiny suggestion, it would be to sell food in the hostel's "restaurant", which sells only drinks, and as most of the people do not have cars, it takes a 15 minutes walk to reach a market or restaurant. Apart from that, amazing spot!!

Staff at the cafeteria was very friendly and helpful. During our stay there was heavy rain that affected the sewage system that apparently was not in good conditions and as a result it was not possible to bath in the beach. Thas was not a good thing. Other than that we enjoyed the stay, like the place and will reccommend it for others

Poor and unclean shower facilities. Just a plastic shower curtain for privacy in a mixed gender bathroom. Poor drainage on bathroom floor, always pools of water everywhere.
