It's a long way up that hill. Internet connection is virtually non-existent when the normal amount of people are using it.

free breakfast and the kitchen were good. the showers werent the best. good view from upstairs lounge. bit of a hike to get up the hill from the city down below, but i would stay there again if i returned to lyon.

It's located at uphill of Lyon. But the view is very nice!! And the staffs are kind, too. Have fun!

you NEED to fix the directions on your website. You are NOT at the "foot" of the hill. The foot is at the bottom. Now you've got a bunch of lost people walking up the hill when they could have just taken the vernacular.

I am happy to live in youth hostels every now and then. The <> thing I wanted was a place to lock away my things safely! Lo, the one thing they failed me on was a locker. All the lockers were broken and when I brought it up, the staff shrugged their shoulders "tough." So I had to carry around ALL my stuff as I toured around Lyon - it really spoilt my day :(

I've recently stayed in 3 HI hostels in different cities in the last month, where they were the only hostels in the city, and found that even though they've all been ok, they seem to be behind the times with service and comfort and the little extras that other private hostels provide- with little difference in price. Otherwise, I found them decent enough, although probably not my first choice, if I had other options.
