| I stayed 5 nights, and loved almost everything about it. Beautiful place, though hard to get to. Good meals, nice staff, nice rooms. Only complaint would be that we never got a good night's sleep; one night the clerk brought someone in loudly at 1:30 a.m. with no concern for the rest of us sleeping, while other nights people were in bed by 9 or up by 6 and others in the hostel were loud at all hours. 24hr access is a great thing, but maybe there could be different sections/rooms for people who check in late at night, or some policy of being quiet in the dorms? | This is a beautiful, well-kept hostel with a great staff and nice amenities, like an in-house bar/cafe with reasonable wine and great frites. Be aware that it's a fair hike from the nearest bus stop, especially if you're in an after-dark rainstorm, like I was. But there's a van to the train station for the next morning -- not free, but then there's no hike. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. (229485) | |||
