We found the showers awful. You wasted so much water before it became hot and then constantly had to have your hand on the button to keep the water flowing! It needs some attention.

Be aware that this is not in the center of town. It is near a metro stop, but it takes at least 10-15 minutes to get anywhere close to the main attractions. We couldn't get into our room until 3pm, so we were allowed to leave our bags in a "locked room," which had a camera and you got buzzed into. Anyone could have taken anything from our bags since no one actually watched what happened in the room. There is no official place to store your stuff safely. We were lucky because 4 of us from the same group stayed in one room, but had we shared our room with other people, I would not have felt safe leaving my belongings. The room was small and dirty, but I wasn't really expecting much. The bathrooms were disgusting--be sure to have shower shoes! No towels were provided either. They gave you a pillow, sheets, and a blanket. There is a sink in the room that we had. For the price, I don't think this was the best choice.

The breakfast was good and the room was comfortable and silent. Although it is not located in the city center, the metro station was really close, so the transport to the tourist places was easy and fast. The main problem was the bathroom. The shower was cold and the bathroom was not cleaned frequently.

very noisy in the evenings. This al depents on the people living in your corridor. But when we were there a group of teenagers were very loud. Even after asking them to be quiet.

The hostel is a good place to sleep during your stay at Paris. Within 30 min. you are close to a monument or Gard du Nord. The hostel is clean and save. You can cook your own dinner and there is a supermarket on the other side of the street. But the room is not comfortable. We missed a table and chairs, there was no woardrobe or any board at all. No place to put our stuf on, only the ground. For us it was realy a negative point.
