| The hostel was clean and nice enough, but the location of the outhouses above the hostel made for a constant, unpleasant smell wafting down into the living space. I'm assuming this is worse on hot summer days. I recommend moving the outhouses so you don't have to smell them throughout your entire stay. | ||

| I appreciate the availability of the hostel and the hostel manager
s efforst, but must say that it was not up to the standard of the other Wilderness Hostels I stayed at in the Canadian Rockies. Generally, the buildings are not so well kept up. The kitchen was not so well equipped. For example, all the skillets were deteriorating teflon skillets with the teflon material falling in the food - not very healthy. Generally, the place was a bit depressing relative to the other hostels that have similar facilities. | ||
