The noice level is unacceptable. The night guard puts up a party with guests returning in early morning hours. He should rather keep them quiet and sensitise them to the noise they nake. Now he makes it worse by partying with them. Ladies at reception was nice and helpful. In stark contrast to might person on duty. Staff should not be allowed to play games on PC while paying guests sit waiting to use the internet. All staff at a HI hostel workung with guests should be able to communicate in english. One of the reasons one goes there is bevause it is part of global network but it seems they cater really only for local people. There were also local people at breakfast not staying in the hostel which were helping themselves generously and was given served much more generously by staff than paying guests. The hostel is more a private, local establishment than a HI facility subscrbing to global network standards.

Hello Chantre About the night guard, after two complains about him, he was fired, I'm sorry about that. I agree with you, the pc in the lounge is not for staff, if they was using specialy for games, they was wrong, are you shure they was playing, this is totaly forbiten. All the people who works at the reception, they speak english, myself I intervew all of them, but the guard at night, he doesn't. I'm impress you now exactly who are guest and who are not, anyway, the treatment should be the same to everyone, if it wasn't, one more time my appoligise. We have the idea to respect any guest who are in our hostel, dosen't matther were they from, and wicth language they speak. I actually left after one night- it was dark and grim and smelt funny. The bed was uncomfortable, it was noisy, there were lockers in the room but otherwise the door to the room didn't have a lock. The shower was warm which was good. There is a kitchen. The hostel didn't have city maps, just one of how to get to the supermarket and bus stops and walking round that area didn't feel so safe.When I arrived they made a mistake with how much I had to pay, but it was given back to me afterwards which I was grateful for. It was a bit weird, I wasn't a fan but at the end of the day a beds a bed.

Hi Mary, about the smell we were having problems with an infiltration at the air conditioner,it´s fixed now. We have alredy took care about the lights too, it´s much more brighting now. We reaaly have to apolagises obout the beds, we changing all the matress. And maps, we were having problems with the companing that send us the maps. We change the company. The neigbohood is quite safe, Rio has the problems that all big city has. Weird is about the fans, all roons have, wich was the room? Sorry about the mistake on the payment.
