I stayed in Namur YHA for one week, and do suggest this hostel, with nice staff, good breakfast. It takes you around 40 minutes by walking from the main train station, but the river view is good and worth of the money^^

This is a very good hostel. There is a very nice old building a room with 6 beds. A renovation would be nice, but it's clean and ok. I also slept in a newer building, more modern and comfortable. The staff is very friendly! The breakfast was good! We could rent there two very good mountainbikes, and did a great tour of 30 km. Namur is a very beautiful city.

Only one key for the whole room, and the toilets weren't at all clean. But the staff were friendly and it was in a nice location

Very good hostel that is easy to find if you have map and follow the right river. Good they have own serving since it is a bit to walk in to the centre of town. Namur is a good place as base for motorcycling I think. Only negativ I rember is the confusion I got the first time to do my own dishing after breakfast. Örjan from Sweden

Great location. You can walk into town and the citadel. The station is a little further, but you can still walk or catch a bus. Hostel is by a river. You can sit in front garden and see the river. There is a river and minor road in front of the hostel. This may worry parents with young children, but providing you supervise them it is ok. There is also a playground nearby, also by the river.

Bunk beds had much unsavoury graffiti - my ten-year old daughter was forced to sleep underneath a variety of phallic images as well as the phrase 'this place sucks', which is partially true. Good selection of board games. System of having only one key for each room not ideal.

Breakfast is basic. No problem for me, but could be more attractive (f.e. the youth hostel in Malmedy: more choice, fruit, bio food...).

The maid puked in the sink and blamed it on me and we almost got kicked out for it.
