| I am a Yha owner in Australia & I found the welcome extremely cold. Check in was very slow & no directions were given for me to find my room. Once I found the room the key would not open the door so I had to walk back to reception with my bags & get someone to fix the problem. I was put in a room with a guy who was a long term guest & was kept awake until 5.30am because he had the lights on all night. All in all not a pleasant stay. | ||

| hostel needs to improve the breakfast menu. Presently the menu is very poor and service is below average. Secondly hostel needs to improve the general cleanliness in the rooms. Improve security. Provide more warm welcome to guests. Hostel staff seems reluctant to prove general tourist info and sight attractions. There is no common tv area or activity area. No common kitchen for guests. I would not stay here again unless hostel improves in above areas. | ||

| I perfer the other costa sands around the corner, due to availablity of private rooms..other than that I really enjoyed myself as always in Singapore and would stay again..I appreciated being able to take the shuttle bus to the other one for the excellent breakfast there, the breakfast here wasn't that great. | ||
