| It's really more a motel than a hostel. The price is unbeatable but I think most people would not consider this an option if they know in advance what this place is like. To make it more clear it's not that I made any bad experiences but the surroundings and the location don't make you feel very safe if you are a foreigner. | ||

| Supergünstiges Hostel, für den Preis alles absolut OK. Sehr freundliches Personal und beim Frühstück sogar eine Pancake Lady ;)
Lage ein kleines bisschen abgelegen, aber immer noch auf dem Strip | ||

| I don't think my bill was correct. I originally booked ONLINE for 7 days, later changed to one day. When I got home, I reliZed by cash deposit was 5% to Seven days, but was only credited for one day. | ||

| Wasn't able to give me change for laundry. I paid a 5% deposit when I booked online, but this was not taken off my total price (I couldn't remember what I had paid when I checked in-should've had this info). Kitchen only open certain hours & not until 9am. Girl told me one day kitchen opened at 8am...go there at 8am & it's locked. Couldn't get my food for breakfast. Then at 9am I asked the same girl when kitchen opened...she said 9am! Very little cutlery in kitchen. We had a motel room...one night someone had the wrong room & tried to unlock our door...and was able to with a different room key! Luckily I had the chain locked & was able to stop that person from coming in (was around 10pm). Front desk couldn't print something for me. No laundry soap to buy at front desk or in laundry room. | ||

| On arrival, the front desk person Rob photo copied my credit card and my drives licence. When I objected to it, he said that it is a policy. I had to cancel my card to protect it against fraud. Than I emailed HI complaining about it, but they didn't come back with any answer yet. Secondly, the front desk person Rob was under the influence of some substance at all times. Third, there was a homeless person in my room, who they evicted after two days. She moved to the kitchen and stayed there for another night. They came to get her out, but she would not leave. Next, their electronic payment processor was not working. I used the ATM in the office, it was not working. Kitchen: another disaster. Absolutely nothing you can use. There are two frying pans, which are so food encrusted and with wobbly handle. I bought my own pan to be able to cook. The other guests: mostly drifters looking for work/unemployed. | ||

| It was the cheapest HI I have ever been in, but also the worst, by a long shot. Staff were friendly and helpful, and sheets and towels were clean, and it was nice to have a microwave and minifridge in the room, but that's as far as it goes as compliments are concerned.
Would have gladly paid a few extra bucks a day for a better served breakfast, better maintained rooms and bathrooms (there was not one single day in which I wasn't lucky enough to spot at least one cockroach in the room or bathroom), shower sort of worked in a random fashion, corridor ceiling actually collapsed on one night, luckly it seems no one got injured and no damage to peoples cars or other property.
Having known HI quality standards for over 12 years, that was certainly a disappointment. | ||
