| The staff were welcoming but the facilities left something to be desired. However, after 20.00 there was no staff around, nor any indication of where to get hold of anybody. We had some people come and look for a place to stay for the night and just took empty beds. Nothing sinister but there was no way to contact anybody. They paid the following morning but is not a sign of a secure place to stay, especially when you have children staying.
Showers were nof very well contained - water spreading over to the toilets forcing you to wear shoes to go there. Water temperatures could not be changed and the shower ran for approx. 8 seconds per push.
Breakfast was provided although rather spartan and the bread provided was only partly fresh - some stale bread had been toasted.
Having said that, it is a nice location, within 10 min of the beach and the space provided in the rooms is enough so with some minor improvements it could be a fantastic youth hostel. (208496) | |||
