| Empfehlenswert wäre aus meiner Sicht, bei der Herbergsbeschreibung zu erwähnen, ob die Herberge im Zimmer WC/Dusche hat oder nicht.
Dies war in Carcassonne nicht der Fall, während in der nahegelegenen Herberge in Pau dies erfreulicherweise schon der Fall war. (210637) | |||

| What can be better than staying inside the walls of a medeval castle? go in the high season when there will be more than 6 people staying at the hostel. Very friendly staff, good kitchen facilities and location, location location. I can't stress this enough, you stay basically in a castle!!!! (233819) | |||

| the best hostel we stayed at during our trip. the man at the reception spoke german and also spanish and probably english, too and was very friendly. everything was very clean, there are sinks in the rooms. they have a nice court where you can sit and have breakfast (the best breakfast we had out of all the hostels) outside in the morning. there is a garden with a lawn to lie on and at night there is a dj (great music!!) for the common room. the hostel is directly in the middle of the medieval city, you can walk there from the train station but it is easier to take the bus or the little train. we can definitely recommend this hostel!
