| One fridge didn't work, the oven didn't work, the kitchen sink area was dirty and smelly, the working fridge had a disgustingly dirty freezer portion, the fridge was loaded with used bottles and sauces from past campers. Overall a hostel that need a complete makeover and a warden who can sort it out ! Watch for a scathing review on tripadvisor. (219756) | |||

| the young guy who manages the hostil was fabulous, very personable and chatty. Offered tips on travel and play. clean, hot showers were a nice surprise, even with a full house we still had hot water after 3 other people had used it b4 us.
Location was out of this world. Short walk to the falls and so worth the trip into yoho.
Banff and Jasper parks had nothing compared to the real beauty of Yoho, and yoho was so laid back and not nearly as touristy as the others.

| One person in group had a blanket that was small and light and she was cold during the night. Also getting into top bunk was quite a stretch, literally. Not really a ladder. Would help if somehow an extra rung could be nailed on.
Stunning setting, friendly host, generally enjoyed our stay. (215382) | |||

| When I booked over the internet, I didn't know my two children couldn't stay at this hostel. I think there should be a pull down list to list number of guests and their ages, and then a warning should come on if they are too young. I personally don't agree with the age limit being 10 and over. Most of the people staying at the hostel were 50 years and older, this doesn't resemble a youth hostel anymore. Please reconsider this policy as I'd love to stay at this hostel with my children and share the beauty of Yoho National park with them. I think children at hostels should be something that people expect and if they don't want to stay around children, they can book other private accomodations. It's the people without children who have more expendable income. There are not that many affordable options open to everyone in the park. Thank you! (205391) | |||

| This is a wonderful hostel. It was so magestic to walk outside the dorm room in the morning to see a great view of Takkakaw Falls. The hostel manager was very personable and helpful. The entire stay was exactly what we were looking for: simple, comfortable, and in a grand location. (198356) | |||
