The lounge was nice and the personal very helpful. A lots of information on the front desk!!! The night shift guy was very easy, but i forgot 3 my key in the room ;-) Thank you But the mattresses in the room was uncomfortable. I slept down in the bunk bed. I hadn`t enough place. The kitchenutensils/staff was poor and 5 cooktop didn´t work (from 8)

We have brand new 6" Memory Foam mattresses in 80% of the rooms with the remaining 20% to be switched next year. We will have our kitchen renovations completed by Sept. 17 with 8 new hot plates for cooking. We have a drawer full of utensils and are always trying to add more cooking instruments.

Das Dach der Jugendherberge wurde gerade neu gemacht, deshalb Lärm- und Geruchsbelästigung (Teer) ab 07:00. Deshalb ist die Komfortbewertung "gut" nur geschätzt (während meines Aufenthaltes war es nicht so toll).

Alles bestens, die Sanitäranlagen super neu und sauber. Nur die Küche bräuchte eine Renovierung. Ansonsten hervorragende Lage im Strathcona, nettes Viertel südöstlich von Downtown.

I love the Edmonton Hostel. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful.

Only one thing but important: the first night there was a bus of young people from Vancouver and they partied till 2:00 am....and that was tough, could not sleep.......most people seemed incommodated as we are there to go trekking and we need our sleep. Everything else was excellent I will recommend it to all my friends.

Our apologies for the people, who partied late that night. We do have a Quiet Time rule from 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. If you are being disturbed by noise, please let our front desk staff know and they will attend to the matter.

The bunk bed in the double room was not very nice. On the bottom bed you can't even lean up because the top bed is very low. Which made the comfort low as well. So did the matrass. But other than that it was all right.
