| The hostel itself was one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. The kitchen area is spotlessly clean and spacious. The only issue I have is that I like to eat outside, and I would like to see better measures to keep the birds out of the patio area. Other than that the hostel was extremely nice, clean, comfortable and well worth the cost. (168909) | |||

| In an ideal world air-conditioning in the rooms would be nice - the fans just couldn't keep the room cool enough.
Several of the showers were out of order. No soap in the soap dispenser in the toilets.
Beds very comfortable. Everywhere seemed really clean. Staff on reception were excellent. Facilities were really good. (166668) | |||

| The staff was quite helpful and throrough in providing directions and activities, and the resort is centrally located in Katooma. The only drawback is the coffee machine! Fortunately there's a great coffee shop near the YIH - the Common Ground. (158897) | |||
