Mind that the private room is next to the common room and has a shared balcony – if you are very sensitve to noise, you may find that a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it's a comfy room for three at a good price. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and in hostel terms, the place is quite luxuirous indeed.

For a female solo traveler in her seventies, having to use the two coed bathrooms shared by close to thirty people of all ages was awkward. I did have the private room, but had to cross the dining room, which is pretty much the hang-out with the only television, therefore always occupied, sometimes late into the night or early morning. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. Skip the breakfast, it is not worth two Euros--all you get is a bowl full of Cornflakes with much too much milk, two halves of stale buns with indescribable jam and a cup of lousy coffee.

Nice place with de luxe bathrooms (but only two of them, so you have to wait even if you only want to go to toilett) and very friendly staff.

This was one of the nicest hostel I stayed in Kiev; lovely staff, clean rooms and huge bathrooms.
