If arriving by train, be wary of "friends" who want to "help" you get to the hostel,especially after dark. Friendliness is obviously faked and a ploy for money. Hostel's rooms are worn and needing of new carpets and freshening. That goes for the public room and kitchen as well. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and willing to give tourist information. Overall, it's a low cost option for a 1-2 night stay.

This is one of the better hostels I stayed in with friendly staff and a short walk from the station. There is also an attic common room for a quiet time. A bus outside goes to the city.
